Welcome to the Mid-Lancashire Young Peoples Walking Group website!

The group provides an active line-up of challenging Walking for people who are in the 20s-30s bracket and any young at heart 40s. We run a mixture of local and regional trips to some of the most picturesque parts of the country. Anyone is free to become involved with the group, simply by turning up to one of our Walks or our numerous Social events. For more information about the group check out our New Members welcome page.

Please contact our secretary Ruth Kirk (07851 721711) if you would like to be put on our email list or for all other general enquiries.

It’s not just about the Walking!

There’s a great variety of activities on offer throughout the year, ranging from a night at the pictures to a week in the Alps. In the past we have organised rounders, white-water rafting, ice-skating, and cricket, together with trips to comedy nights, fireworks, concerts and the theatre. For more details see the Socials page.

We look forward to seeing you on some of our events!
